Already on GitHub? Sign in to your account. I seem to be having a problem with Qbittorrent, I recently tried to see if I could optimize Qbittorrent using a guide that I found online. My problem is that my torrents stopped downloading and uploading, Everything has stopped. I know that it works somewhat because when I restart my computer Qbittorrent gets some fluctuation in the DL bar.
I tried uninstalling, Deleting the preferences folder to reset the settings, restarting my computer, exiting and reopening Qbittorrent, Nothing seems to have worked for more than a torrent files not downloading seconds. I know that my internet is fine because I can do tests and browse the web just fine.
Its just that the torrents don't seem to want to do anything, torrent files not downloading. I used a calculator to determine what settings would be the best for my connection. I actually have done the port forwarding before as well as the static IP, I use Plex and I use it with a "Remote Server" as well on a different port that's Plex dedicated. I don't know what they do either so I didn't know what to do with the option now that I know it exists.
This is my log and INI file. I just want to update my torrent seeds, It keeps going up but Qbittorrent does not download or upload. On a test, I restarted my computer and when Qbittorrent started my downloads started but then stopped again. Sorry didn't see the log on first post, i don't see something strange in it. Other than that try disabling temporarily kaspersky and malware bytes to see if they're at fault.
I'm afraid i don't know what else to try. Good luck! The problem can be fixed by deleting qBittorrent. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling I assume that automatically cleared the folder housing those 2 INI files.
But just to make sure I have just deleted them and have restarted Qbittorrent, I will follow up on the results. I checked the dead torrents, I checked the trackers just now and it says on the status tab that some trackers are "working" but some are "not working". For the "Do not count slow torrents in these limits" I have just enabled that option just now. So I'll follow up with the results.
The weird thing is that yesterday my torrents suddenly started downloading again and I'm not sure why. I have redone my settings in Qbittorrent due to a recommendation that was posted on my thread in the Qbittorrent Fourms. These are the new settings that were posted, And as such I have changed my previous settings to these settings. The az-calc guide you used was badly flawed when it was made and is over 6 years old. Upload slots: Global maximum: 60 should be lowered further if you lower upload speed much Per torrent: Not "checked" it's not nearly as important as the global max upload slots. It works sometimes but sometimes it does not work with downloading, even though I have seeds. Qbittorrent isn't even letting me move torrents around, I usually put torrents in a "downloading" folder then I put the finished torrents in a folder marked "Unsorted by Filebot" using the torrent program, But when I use the option "Set Location" in Qbittorrent nothing happens.

I appear to be set up correctly but suddenly am getting 0 upload and 0 download speeds. I've already removed malware with Malwarebytes. Cleared it out and started downloading again straight away. I still had a lot of space left on my hard drive. However, torrent files not downloading, due to all the problems with my inability to download torrents and similar problems with everything else, I finally bit the bullet and reloaded Windows 10 from scratch, losing practically everything in the process, including important files that I thought were personal.
But I'm happy to report I'm recuperating and qBittorent is functioning again. I didn't realize that when you redo Windows 10, you lose all your online settings as well.
What a pain in the posterior! Try changing the auto-assigned PORT to a random one - fixed the torrent files not downloading for me. Randomizing the port under connections instantly fixed torrent files not downloading problem for me, torrent files not downloading. Weird but there you go.

Sign in to view. I have not tried a different client yet, I'm hoping I don't have to. My firewall is set by Kaspersky. Here are my current settings new and other info. Now I cant cant even get qbittorrent to close using the end process command with task manager.
