It has nothing to offer that you can't find with free ware. Don't waste your money on this version. It is simplified and is missing many of the old features that made it an okay substitute for Adobe Photoshop. This version has taken away many useful tools and features that I frequently utilized in the previous version. For the price I was charged I expected even more photoshop-like qualities only to find this simplified hardly functional for what I need version.
Arcsoft has taken a turn in the wrong direction and changed this once useful software into to beginner friendly software and charged more money That's a BIG No-No! I used Photo Studio with my Canon scanner and it works wonderfully. The photos are almost better then the original. I wouldn't change a thing. It's a great piece of software.

Just as the icing on the cake - Arcsoft will put all sorts of hidden processes running in the background eg. Very disappointing - can we have v5 back please? Can not uninstall. No option to uninstall in program; nothing happens when using Control Panel Uninstall; does not show up in Windows Install Clean-up. If ArcSoft philosophy is to force it on you, I do not want it. Is there a trick to uninstalling? No uninstall process shows up, and in various program, it doesn't even show up as an installed program.
